Okinawa prefectual governor answered to national defense bureau on August 6 that the date of hearing over the issue of revocation of approval of embankment on Henoko for US base should not been postponed.
National defense bureau had requested the date needed to be postponed due to the time-shortage for processing. The governor concluded they should have enough time for the process.
The hearing will be held on August 9 as planned before. However, the governor mentioned about possibility of hearing after the hearing, and that shall depend on them whether they want hearing .
