(In Front of Gate)
A large-scale typhoon 24 (“Charr-Me”) brought about the severe rainstorm to the whole area of Okinawa starting in the afternoon of September 24. The storm and big whirlwinds destroyed many houses and caused blackouts to 240,000 houses. It was the last day of the early-vote for the gubernatorial election, but the voting was cancelled for the day. It affected the election campaign plan of both camp.
In Henoko, the iron fence of the Gate was torn and fell down on the highway. In the sea, the high-wave damaged several places of the landfill bounds. It was as if the Heaven was angry at the man-made-destruction of nature.
