Sept. 7th: jA Visit by Chuo University Students from Tokyo

(In front of the Gate)
At 9:00am, approximately 20 people started the sit-in. Twenty-three students from Chuo University in Tokyo joined the sit-in so that the number increased to 60 by noon. One of the students spoke, “I wanted to come and see the Henoko scene with my own eyes.”
Knowing that a majority of young people believe in the fake news that cash payments are made to the participants of Henoko sit-in, Mr. Yamashiro Hiroharu, the leader of the “In front of the Gate” action, was impressed by the large number of sincere young people.
The meeting in front of the Gate was adjourned at noon for the participants to attend the campaign for the upcoming municipal election.
