Sept. 14th: A Visit by a Dock Workers’ Union Members from the Mainland

At 9:00am, 10 people started sit-in. Twenty-seven members of a Dock Workers’ Union in mainland joined the sit-in, and the number of participants totaled to approximately 40 by noon.
“The upcoming gubernatorial election will determine not only the future of Okinawa but also the future of Japan. We must win the election,” spoke Mr. Yamashiro Hiroji.
After chanting trice, “Fight!” the meeting was adjourned at noon to join the election campaign.
