The Second Signature Campaign to the Whitehouse was Initiated, “Save the Democracy and Coral Reef of Okinawa”

Mr. Robert Kajiwara, a 4th generation Okinawan American in Hawaii, who initiated a petition to the Whitehouse and successfully had collected 210,000 signatures by this February initiated another signature campaign. This time, the campaign aims “to save coral reef in danger of being extinguished by landfill in Oura Bay and the democracy in Okinawa in danger of being violated by the current government of Japan.
He spoke. “I initiated the second campaign to appeal specifically to Americans to support Okinawa. I hope to get a half million signatures.”
The campaign is written in English and easy to follow instructions for sign up. The following is the explanation in Japanese. Please talk to your friends to sign up. I hope that more Japanese will participate the campaign.
